The Weaver - Part-04 - "Adaari"

"The one who frees, is often not the one who lives to enjoy the freedom."

Saranyu was looking outside her small window, at the solemn bowl which never ran out of water for birds tormented by the heat wave. -
As the birds pressed their beaks into the silence of the water, ripples echoed a distant thought.

When the prisoners of war the "vihagaas- the birds" were rescued by the valiant forest guardians, most of them got infected by the light of the new sun. -
The forest beings which lived under the ocean wasn't used to this new bright thing. -
The sun had sent its people to conquer all on earth.

"Free the cages
Let the birds be out."

The water of the earth had dried and it's surface charred by the people of the new sun.
So the birds took to the skies and remained there until the trees were born.

Saranyu looked at the bowl of water, she remembered her own brave daughter who had given her life to break free the birds from those uranium traps.

Kori : how old was she when she fought the Great War ?
Saranyu : your age.

That's why dreams don't appear in the light, they come in the night.

It's the way of the old earth.
Simply closing ones eyes is not enough, you must remember those who gave their lives, the pure hearts, the dreams they left behind are the ones you want to lead.

Weaver - Part 03- The forest herbs

The Weaver" Episode-3

"Your pain defines who you are but don't let it hold power over you."
-

So when did you stop sleeping ? Was it after the great forest fire ?

Kori was still startled by the black star trails which swirled around Saranyu.

Saranyu : it was...but I was too burnt, the fire had pierced my hoofs, its flaming arrows had cut through my tendons but I preserved and saved all the children, I was drained, and had to seek help.

Kori: where did you look?

Saranyu: He made medicines from the forest herbs, a night before he had collected most medicinal plants, but for his own people who had set fire to the forest.
He offered it to me though, enduring his own festering wounds, a strong heart, humans can be so different, some who burn and some who heal.

Kori : did you take it ?

Saranyu : .....

Kori : ...Your burns were excruciating ?

Saranyu: I remembered the forest echoing something in my heart.
That voice and the resolve in it was medicinal...

"Your pain defines who you are but don't let it hold power over you."

The forest even though incinerated took away my agony, since then I haven't slept, neither do I get the drift to sleep, I watch all scattered dreams, hoping that the forest might come back through one of them, that it may want to live again.

I watch over that hope Kori.

"The Weaver" Part -02

"The Weaver" Episode - 02 https://www.instagram.com/abhiart/

Beyond the dream world, where dark light tints the distant red stars is the realm of "Susupti"- Deep sleep.

That is where the mind goes, leaving the physical body.

This is where the dreams emanate from.
-
Some congregate to form the "Dream state" some move more freely.

Kori: Hard to recollect anything from this vagrant state.
It's impossible to track the deep-sleep realms unlike the "swapn" night self and "jagrat" day self. ?

Saranyu: Dreams are not looking for the minds.
You must know child...the mind is looking for dreams. -
Once it finds it.
It traps it.
Puts on reins of reason.
Locks it down with borders of logic.

It takes immense effort to free the dreams from the clasp of the mind.

And when you free the dreams you change too.
They transform you.
So much so that the order in the walking world looks irrational and meaningless.

Dreams can do that you see...

They make you love a different world, then the one you presently inhabit.

That can be dangerous...

Are you sure you want to know about them Kori ?

The pot whistled and the top opened letting something out which resembled little bugs ?

Trail-Stars.

Wide eyed Kori gasped and her breath became jaded with surprise.

"The Weaver" Part-01

"The Weaver"
Episode 01

Why would she give a names to anonymous beings she met in her dreams,
or
why the folks she saw never had any mouths ?

Yet they communicated with something far profound then what mere words could say.

Often Kori, the daughter of the boar king would come to Mother Saranyu for council on her dreams.
Which was odd, because Ma Saranyu never slept, she was nindramukta, liberated of sleep.

How can one who does not sleep know about dreams ?

It baffled her, what did she know about dreams which no one else did?
Did dreams live anywhere else too other then the sleep ?
Were sleep and dreaming even related ?

Most folks who slept had nightmares not dreams.

perhaps it was kori's interest in the old speech. -

When we shed everything we know, how would the world seem then ?

Saranyu : you know what your name means ?

Kori : ...a blank place ?

Saranyu smiled and she brewed the herbs Kori had brought for her and said.

Weaver.

Kori had no idea where mata was going with this, but her heart was ardently listening.
